I think Kikau is definitely elite. He’s a huge big game player and a big part of their DNA. I think Crighton and Kikau are both elite. Agree on both the other points.

If it's from last year, how useful is it?

In the absence of the same graph for this year (I looked), its pretty useful. Bear in mind I posted it in the context of the Tigers in reply to another poster and not commenting on the eels.

Of course over a year the Tigers will be moving up and to the right as the young players get a year older and more games under their belt but considering since that date we have lost Isaiah Papali'i, Klemmer, Aidan Sezer & Bateman and really only signed one old guy in Jack Bird, I actually dont think it would have changed much.

But obviously it's easy getting/keeping any player you want. Just pay them 'slight overs', boom problem solved. I wonder if merkins think we would've gone any better if we'd paid overs to keep Mahoney. He has won as many finals matches as we have since he left.

In baseball (MLB) they have a wins above replacement stat that assesses the players value against the average player at his position or something…that is probably what the analytics look at in league as well plus forecasting whether the player can/will get better.

I am hearing plenty of rumblings going around that there not a happy camp down there in the Gong.

The De belin sudden exit only adds fuel to this.

Sounds like the Flanagan's are steering a sinking ship to the abyss.

I got on @ $11 a few weeks back for them to come last and there now down to $9.

If we beat them this week i can't see them winning more then 2 more games in that run home.

Even if they do beat us i reckon our chances of finishing stronger then them are still high.

There clinging on and its probably going to get worse before its get better.
