That's BS.. used to travel to melbun for work a fair bit.
Absolutely shit show getting to the city.
Even worse getting back to the airport in the arvo after 3.
Sydney airport to parra with the m8 and m4 is now super quick..

For accessibility getting around found Melbourne better, could basically walk to any major event or use the free tram loop. Sydney you need to travel by transport. eg At times you need to get two trains for a gig at Accor

I got a new hot water heat pump and the AC was already running on electricity.

Is a hot water heat pump like the equivalent of instant gas hot water? Or is it a tank?

It’s a tank full of water that is heated by electricity. I have it set to only heat while the sun is out (more or less) so the solar covers it. However that recent weekend a couple of weeks ago where it got below -5, the f**king thing was unable to heat the water and it shut down. We didn’t get hot water back until about 10:00am, both nights. Apparently the solution on those nights is to just run the heating all night.
