Obviously don’t watch Tigers games that closely , but from what I’ve seen this year he’s been in the top 4/5 players most games. Won games with his goal kicking and made as many breaks as some of the so called Tigers stars. He’s handy, but like at l most clubs a player or two is disrespected. Guess he’s no 1 on that list
You need to watch more Tigers games if you think AD has been in out best 4/5 but I actually think this year is one of Adams best seasons. he has had some good moments. He has kicked goals well in a few games when it mattered but lost us games with poor goal kicking against Pamfers and Sharks. He is kicking at 71% which sub elite. Surprisingly (to me) his defence
at centre has been very good. His attack at centre has been average. He has made a few breaks but each was the work of Luai not AD and critically, and this is my biggest issue, as soon as he makes the break he is done and is looking for someone because he is
so slow and lately he always runs infield, still thinking and trying to prove he is a half (which he is not).
You probably watched his last game where he started in the halves this year, it was against Parra and he was terrible. He still thinks he is a half and wants to be a half, and he simply isnt. Has a VERY poor passing game which is weird because he CAN throw a great pass, particularly left to right to cut out a centre but he simply doesnt know when to pass and is a hog.
I probably doesnt read like it, but I like the guy, I like the way he has fought back from injuries, I like the way he has been loyal to the Tigers, I like his attitude, but he is simply not up to it. he is not a half for us and although right now he is the second best centre in the club, he shouldnt be and we need better and even without new purchases, I would like to think that either Taylan May or Makasini will take his job next year (or this). There is no place for him at the Tigers, but I genuinely hope he finds a new gig. Signing up with Isaac Moses in the last month or so probably ensures it wont be with us.
