He has been at successful clubs in the past. It's a team game.
Not many CEO's win premierships at 2 different clubs.

He took over Penrith & Souths when they were at the bottom/lowest ebbs and won premierships under his watch.

Wasn't like he was coming in at a time when they were top 4 sides

Penrith in 2001 won a spoon he came in hired John Lang and in 2003 they won the comp.

Souths was a harder job but he had support of Russell Crowe and heavy hitters.

Obviously he isn't making the tackles or coaching the players but he knows what it takes to be successful and turnaround a struggling club

But i reckon his replacement Blake Solly has made a balls up of a lot of things at Souths.

Demetriou appointment/sacking, Accor Contract, empowering Latrell & Cody.

No one has owned publicly to letting Adam Reynolds go so maybe not fully Solly's fault but he certainly was apart of it.

On the Tigers.

800k or 900k wtf he isn't worth half of that...

I think he’s worth at least $600k, and even $700k is realistic. So he could probably get an extra hundred grand or so at a desperate club if he prefers money to onfield success.

Courier-Mail is a Broncos newsletter and he would get the easiest questions thrown at him.
The first part yes. But Brisbane lose three games in a row and their fans lose their minds.

In fact type Dave Donaghy interview into Google as I just did and you’ll see how active he is and it’s not just the Courier Mail.

It shows how bad the Tigers are going when they have to throw stupid money at a junior coming through the system to stay based on potential.

When we do that they still leave

We lost Blaize due to inadequate coaching staff unfortunately. By time Ryles had come the wheels where already in motion.
You watch Ivan polish what BA thought was a winger into a class 5/8.
A winger lol. He really was one of the most clueless coaches we had. The IQ of a BABOON

True, Cleary seems to be doing a good job with him over there. But don't tell fibs about what BA wanted to do with him. He played exactly 4 of 20 first grade games at winger, and everyone knows we wanted him to replace Gutho at fullback.

I couldn't believe this. A bit like us throwing millions at Dylbags on potential.
I reckon he's another out the door. But not to worry. There's always another kid coming through who's better. 😁

Playing a bit of Pou style devils advocate but didn’t Ryles think that Blaize would be our long term fullback?

BA didnt know what his best position was.

Even said so in a presser last year

“None of us (know his best position) and I don’t know if Blaize does,” Arthur said.

But this comment is a gem especially about the halves

“I’m probably thinking that fullback long term will suit him, especially in our team where we have two halves that are going to be for a long time. The club has done a good job in locking them down, but they are going to be there for a while.”
