Wanting to win a competition?

I get it now your the pleb that is content being a loser..

Must really get to you that Ryles has come in and cleaned out the dead wood players and the club is building into a good side.
I f**king love it. It's the thing I told you we were doing before round one 2024:
The commitment to being a development club is very recent, and comes on the back of a return to PLC profitability (and football club spending) after Covid f**ked the club’s finances.

The evidence that the spending is bearing fruit is in the crop of SG Ball graduates from last year. I’m keen to see how the Flegg and NSW Cup sides go.
And I must say, I am very happy with how many games the Flegg and NSW Cup sides have won. It's a good sign, considering how many youngsters are in the two squads (under 21s in NSW Cup and under 19s in Flegg). And I'm stoked Ryles is giving the youngsters a shot in the NRL.

Nailed it.

if you read his posts and those of the Pouciples, they all love a sly dig at Ryles and the new trajectory, because there is a pathological need to always defend the legacy of the destructive bald fraud - being a mediocre team and embracing the plod allows them to feel somehow noble in being perpetual minority underdogs

I predict the successful era that awaits under Ryles will be the end of Pou on this site - all the more reason for success to come faster!
The performance of the club under Ryles has nothing to do with Brad Arthur, any more than Arthur's superior record compared to his predecessors says anything about them. Arthur's record at the club since 2019 was excellent, and it was due to the stability in the front office. Pre-2019 Arthur didn't have that support, and neither did Stuart, Kearney or Anderson, so their results need to be seen in that light. Ryles has inherited the stable front office that Arthur benefitted from since 2019, and the investment made by the club in our pathways should see us have good success with internal promotions. Brad Arthur didn't destroy any of that. In fact the 2022 squad had a number of youngsters from our strong 2017 pathways crop.

Blah blah. The conundrum for you is that the factions have merged. The loyalists are, of course, on the Ryles train as are the whingers. As much as you are trying to find fissures, it’s pretty grim.

Sometimes you just have to give in and embrace a hug merkin. You’re part of the huggers now.

Pou to the rescue!!! Glug glug glug!!
Wtf is happening here? Last 3 pages of people piling onto Pou. If you don't like his posts don't read his posts! Simple.

Lets get back to footy people PLEASE. Let someone with knowledge talk about which juniors they think will make NRL within the next 2 years and their position and the strengths and weaknesses. OK?

Interesting wonder if theres any impact on jayden campbells contract negotiations as he wanted des to stay right?

Des was always going at the end of the season it's been in the media for weeks.

But if I was Hannay I would be looking at what Ryles has done here by cleaning out players to take the pressure of himself and give him a cleaner start..

Are you new here??

My response to Pou was after he came in to White Knight for his good buddy Gronkles. His original post had nothing to do with footy maybe you should ask him to do the same??

Otherwise forum cop somewhere else.

On the posts that do that, they areI immediately countered with stats and meaningless opinion from someone who doesn’t watch juniors, or even Cup. Most of it is making an opposite opinion rather than any eye test. That’s what the grievances are , enough already

Crazy that 6 sides have got to 20+ years since Winning a GF

Then we have the 10-20 years

Manly 2011
Souths 2014
Cows 2015

And in 2026 Cronulla..
Isn't Broncos in there somewhere? With their talent and resources by far the biggest losers in NRL.

Broncos 20 years next year. Crazy how they have turned into such a dud club over the years.

So only 5 teams in the last 10 years have won the GF and that wont increase after this year, and could actually reduce back to 4 teams if Sharks, Storm, Panthers or Roosters win it.

There's enough experts on here providing the results of their eye tests. I add value by providing the opinions of actual experts (pathways coaches and selectors), by clarifying the ages at which these merkins hit their milestones. For example, playing reserve grade at 19 is a much better gauge of ability than how much the player carved up in SG Ball.

And we all appreciate it mate, I don’t know what we would do without you.
