Gutho was no top bloke off the field. He was a rude merkin to many and didn’t give up much of his time for fans. Very aloof and polarising. I know there were team mates that couldn’t cop him. Mahoney was one.

He will be another top line player that will never win anything.

Well one of the blokes who i drink with at the local his son works for the Dogs he told me this arvo that the reason they had to change the logo was the old one couldn't be digitally altered so they needed a new one that was easier to translate digitally through AI and shit like that seriously i thought he was talking the piss.

2 or 3 years ago the NRL instructed all the clubs to start looking at ther logos to simplify them for these reasons, basically for AI and so that they can be used in different applications for the NRL (monochrome, full colour etc etc). It was one of the reasons the Tigers logo lost the claws (insert lame joke here).

More like he would be under pressure from day 1 . Won’t have the leeway to take time progressing the results like eels , would be expected to have instant success. Plus won’t be taking on a storm side at its peak … the storm has big issues and weaknesses throughout that side and only performed through the will of Bellamy this year (their star prop is the biggest cat in the front row).

Look at the broncos after Bennetts stints how long it’s taken them to recover and what happened to coaches taking on clubs after him
