You can imagine how excited I’d get if Lee from Glenelg was a fan. We’d have a LeeGlenelGeeL!

Well spotted!! I also like a good coincidence/synchronicity as well!Do you realise something else about your post I quoted...
Hint: the post I'm quoting now is your 568th
*Deal.Deal. Jim the snake Done!!
*peggingBroncos come begging and we smack em in the mouth again and then they trade Walsh for Pezet in round 4.
Damn, thought you were growing up. So there are two of you?
Had been saying the Moneyball thing about trolley boy Mon and Jim’s mowing service for a while. Glad to hear they flew on their junket to the UK as well. Could’ve saved them $$$ by sending them to the 4 time premiership winners down the road for a tour on how to be sucessful. But nooooooooo these imposters wanted to go on a holiday and learn off failing super league clubs. f**kING Amateurs!!The issue remains, as a club we are short a few players to make a run at the top 8. Listening to MON on Sen, it was more of the same when compared to the Storm HOF.
At least he had the awareness to say that they would be in the market for players and would depend on cap etc.
MON was his usual monosyllabic self, spoke to what seemed a pre rehearsed statement and said noting even when asked a question expressing the clubs position, no reference at all to upgrades.
Anyway, other clubs are moving into the market and ,let’s hope we are doing the same and manage to recruit decent players, we are not a club that has had a lot of success in competitive situations for a while, so probably pays to be patient and see what outcomes are achieved. Fingers crossed for the next few weeks and wait for news on extensions and recruits, let’s hope we see the club successful in setting up a move towards the finals.
We are the laughing stock of the league. Thanks Jim’s mowing service. From the Manly forum
“Garrick 1 year at Eels (2026) and then Perth Bears. It's one rumour doing the rounds”
This better be a gee up
I’d be ok with that and offer Penisini 350k to stay, take it or leave it. Keep Russell he’s a battler but is getting better each season and a great defender. If Garrick came to the Eels, it would be to play in the centres, assuming Lomax stays.
No way he plays on the wing with the Fox extending and Lomax staying.
I’m good with that he is an excellent winger.he would be replacing Lomax.
We've replaced PO's with being Cucked instead. MON is a genius. From the Manly forum

Ah.It would be if it weren’t full of lizards
For the first 30 mins he was behind a beaten pack until he single handedly decided to score THAT try before halftime. That changed the whole complexion of the game and Donkeys were dominate from that point onwards. How do you reckon he’d go behind a beaten pack?
Don't think we need much to be really competitive. There appears to be plenty of quality coming thru lower grades, forwards and a few backs. Whether any can progress to NRL this year is the big question. Our showing at the backend of this year (or is it now next year since 1 Nov?) gives us hope for a successful year to come. The issue remains, as a club we are short a few players to make a run at the top 8. The post was more about not standing still and satisfied but taking the opportunity to strengthen a decent roster as younger players come through. Not really an area where the club has been competent recently, some of us are getting older and see a big club not moving as it should.Don't think we need much to be really competitive. We've filled 1 hole at 5/8 and need a strike centre to further improve our squad which is our minimum requirement in my estimation. Now its up to Ryles to see who is on the market and whether they'll improve our squad. Exciting times ahead with the transfer market open and training starting on Monday.
*this was such a good post decided to post it twice!
**had trouble posting this as LU system malfunctioned initially
he would be replacing Lomax.
