Weird quirk in the draw

Since 2021 we have played the Storm in the first 3 weeks in every season bar 2024.

So what's that 5 times out of 6 seasons.

2021 - Rd 2 @ Commbank - Parra won 16-12
2022 - Rd 3 @ AAMI Park - Parra won 28-24 in Golden Point
2023 - Rd 1 @ Commbank - Storm won 16-12 in Golden Point
2025 - Rd 1 @ AAMI Park - Storm won 56-18
2026 - Rd 1 @ AAMI Park - TBC

But before 2021 it never did happen once between 1998-2020 that we played them in the first 3 rounds of a season.

So how do you go 23 seasons without it happening to then 5 times in 6 years.

By Tulagi I assume you mean Tuivaiti. Huge potential. But Teancum Brown? A year older than Tuivaiti and a long way behind. Brown is also behind Talagi who is three years younger and played a lot more reserve grade than him this year. Ryda Talagi is probably the best forward prospect in the club.

Speaking of the future

I went to the Back to the Future musical last night in the city.

Like the film the musical transports back to 1955 & 1985.

Can you imagine going back in time to 1985 walking around telling Parra fans your from the future & you better enjoy 1986 its the last comp you will win for at least 40 years.

What's the reaction you would get.

Probably get Mocked, Laughed at or a Beating.
