I am not fussed on Stefano.

If we get him well its through circumstance ill accept it and ill think he will make our team better.

But at the end of the day he was deadset pathetic for NSW last year.

On top of that his GF was pretty ordinary after he called out the Broncos in the leadup.

When he was at the Tigers he was supposed to be the enforcer and they won 3 x wooden spoons. While Terrell May came in replaced him and played better for the Tigers then what Stefano dished up the previous 3 seasons.

On top of that he sounds like he is as dumb as dogshit and still carries on about grudges with Parra and then Tigers how they treated him.

How could you forget Josh Hodgson so it could pave the way for little Matty Arthur to come in and swoop into that number 9 position after he did his 2 years in the reserve grade.

How grateful are we now that Ryley Smith has kicked on and still stuck around after being shunted to the 3rd tier RL while BA was coaching.

He couldn't even make the reggies side while Boods was a shoe in.

But no nepotism according to some.

Agree, it would be just OK, but Lomax was an international winger, so for us to get a fair deal, we need a Kangaroo rep in exchange, which they will not want to give up. Hence, I would imagine 2 lesser, or younger players with a future may be worth a discussion. I'd prefer younger players with potential myself instead of 2 fringe players.

Also, we need backs more than we need forwards in my opinion.

It should be interesting to see how this plays out as long as we don't bend over and spread cheeks.

Its funny when you say players told him to pick Jake

I know for a fact one of the players told BA on the quiet not in front of everyone a year down the track after his debut that he didn't think Jake was up to it.

He then got frozen out for 3 months and then mysteriously gets recalled for the GF after putting his body on the line for BA and the club for 5-6 years before that.

How can you have any honesty in an environment like that. If you can't accept honest feedback.

Just a culture of yes men and do as i am told with no accountability.

Its no wonder we fell off a cliff after the GF and no its got nothing to do with premiership windows.

The whole culture was selfish & rotten for years from contract negotiations with senior players becoming a public fued to 24 hrs after the GF loss when another player took a 3 week suspension over a fine & million dollar half going out on a bye weekend and getting himself in a jail cell with a 8 week ban.

It was there for all to see.

Almost but you missed to mention stats and how they are superior to the eye test.

Plus how Boods was only 9 at the time of him playing up in cup while Smith or anyone else was in their late forties.
