Who the other player from another team you’d consider for a player swap and assuming the ideal candidate is a player off contract end of next year so we are just getting them a year or so early in exchange for Lomax.

it has to be realistic I.e Not Payne Haas!

I do like howarth too but where does he fit in and who misses out ?

Well he came through the ranks as a touted superstar edge backrower however have been great as a centre. I’d leave that up to Ryles but from where I sit, let’s worry about getting quality into our backs and work out positions later.

I also like that Ryles would know him very well and have an opinion of how to have him flying.

If I hear “big season coming up for Will Penisini” another time I’ll dead set vomit. And I genuinely like Kelly next to JAC however he will do a job although I reckon Howarth is about to really peak and is so young.

You almost never ever have your best players available and all it takes is an ACL to JAC for example (knock on wood) and we are super plop again with not much to threaten the line with.

I am not fussed on Stefano.

If we get him well its through circumstance ill accept it and ill think he will make our team better.

But at the end of the day he was deadset pathetic for NSW last year.

On top of that his GF was pretty ordinary after he called out the Broncos in the leadup.

When he was at the Tigers he was supposed to be the enforcer and they won 3 x wooden spoons. While Terrell May came in replaced him and played better for the Tigers then what Stefano dished up the previous 3 seasons.

On top of that he sounds like he is as dumb as dogshit and still carries on about grudges with Parra and then Tigers how they treated him.

I think the club know there no chance getting Coates.

But putting it out there he is only one of three we would accept its basically telling Melbourne pay up or shove it up your arse.

Otherwise were walking away & we are not getting walked over here while holding the cards.

Storm are probably hoping and expecting we just roll over. They have been bending us over basically since they entered the comp.

I also like how we have got on the front foot and set the benchmark publicly what we expect in return now and control the media narrative instead of Storm and Lomax.

I think what we have asked for is a fair trade considering the circumstances and put the onus back on Melbourne to force a deal that has to suit us.

C.Mclean is the best 19yld in the competition. Penrith arent goving him away.. Most likely a swap will be for a player in a different position then Zac. Otherwise whats the advantage of the side acquiring him? It wouldn't make sense to lose a winger to gain a winger of similar value. Pointless.

Ive seen him up close and he is 6'4+ He is huge. Still 25 and best years ahead. Id be happy with this swap.
