Don’t think he’s a toiler. He’s a little better than that. But agree TDS is more dynamic but before Ryles can trust him to start he’s over all game would have to Improve. At the moment Ryley is more reliable. TDS reminds me a little of PJ Marsh with his running game. Could be a great combo between Ryley / TDS just like Drew / Pj

TDS is a very skillful player with more upside than Smith, however, he has flaws in his game particularly passing.

TAs definitely aren’t the only thing you need from a hooker, they aren’t even the main thing. But you’d expect at least one from a bloke playing 26 senior (NRL + NSW Cup) games.

Halfbacks are in the team primarily for their kicking game, so any kick taken by a teammate usually represents an inefficient end to the set. Obviously it's a worthwhile trick play every now and then, but kicking game is not a determining factor for anyone outside the team's primary kicker. Robson is the current NSW Origin hooker and he averaged fewer than five kicking metres per game last year. It's a non-factor. He had five try assists though.
