in saying this, today’s whisper is that Tom Dearden may be looking to move to Sydney due to his partner being from Sydney. I don’t want to make it sound like I know anything about the situation, as I don’t, but what I do know is that his partner has grew up in and lived in the hills area. She also runs a business in the Hills area. Might be the easiest sell we get to get a player to move to Kellyville

Hi Blaize, we really excited about your talent to the point we think you could play every position. How about a 3 year contract and we’ll throw in 2 years of POs? Don’t worry about the value of those because everyone knows they are just placeholders for renegotiations, but we know they’ll give you piece of mind that should Brown stay and you decide to challenge yourself further at 5/8th then you’re free to leave. Heck Gutho is getting a bit long in tooth, perhaps an opportunity at fullback may be available.

I'm certain that's close to exactly what they would've said to him. But he didn't want to play fullback, and as has been pointed out, he had no experience there and wasn't very comfortable in his handful of games there. In the end I think we benefitted from the 'swap'. Iongi is a better fullback.

We are not ruthless enough to sign a player of his quality. I just looked him up, he turns 25 this year, hasn’t even peaked however you’d assume the starting price would be about $1.1m.

We only benefitted to the point in time where Dylan decided Merewether Beach was more attractive than Lake Parramatta. Maybe Lorenzo or Fletcher turn out better than Blaize? We'll see.

Fletcher has size and can kick the ball just as far as Moses. He is the best 7 we have unearthed since Tim Smith. That’s how good he is. Plus he has supreme work ethic and is already the fittest player in the club.
