Lomax is going elsewhere....or nowhere.I'm going Lomax.
It would seem so, however I can see a world where the court rules in our favour regarding restraint of trade (i.e the release was valid on the grounds it was written on) but it considers that his desire to return to the NRL is also valid. As he can't play anywhere else, we are forced to re-hire him.Lomax is going elsewhere....or nowhere.
It's possible but its such a fractured relationship now that I just can't see it.It would seem so, however I can see a world where the court rules in our favour regarding restraint of trade (i.e the release was valid on the grounds it was written on) but it considers that his desire to return to the NRL is also valid. Neither can I, but this is the NRL and Parramatta... anything can happen. It's possible but its such a fractured relationship now that I just can't see it.
Can’t let you know all my secrets mate
Yes Parra will not pick him. It's possible but its such a fractured relationship now that I just can't see it.

Wonder if Tigers put non-compete clause in release?Tigers getting rid of there deadwood to the super league.
Taking all fractured relationships out of the picture, we are a better side with him in it, even if he is a selfish SOB.Yes Parra will not pick him.
His agent and him need to stop bludging and get Melbourne or someone else to deal with the eel.
The Singaporeans are mad for their rugby league. The local comp regularly gets 20k+ crowds.I wonder if they are now thinking Alaska, Antarctica?
Dead set does anyone really think it would get a crowd in Singapore?
or perth it's been tried beforeI wonder if they are now thinking Alaska, Antarctica?

I think Russell will be solid. Not great but also wont really let us down. I think he will struggle for meters though. Lots of examples last year of him being driven back and on his back so no quick play of the balls. Were really gonna need the big boots of moses and pezet. Maybe the offseason can do him some good but would not expect too much in that regard. I think hell be fine under the high ball though and middle of the pack sort of finishing as hes not super fast either.I really hope we go Kelly / Fox on the Fox’s preferred side. I think they’ll be exciting to watch and I think Fox will significantly help Kelly’s defensive decisions.
On the other side Penisini/Russell. I am thinking Russell is the best option to mitigate he who’s name I won’t mention’s run metres. Russell seems fairly strong now and he has decent size.
I also think Russell (ever since he started) has always put his hand up to do the tough stuff, even before he had the weight to pull it off. Plus he’s quite tall so defensively he won’t be a walk over.
Happy to hear thoughts for Simonsen or someone else, I just reckon Russell will be the most reliable and Simonsen is, and always has been an injury risk unfortunately.
Agreed on the wing specifically, if bailey is healthy he is the better choice. I still think russell would be the preferred pick at center if he wasnt leaving.I've been a proponent of Russell and a detractor of Bailey over the years. Russell has benefited from The Fox's on field coaching up to the point of clapping when Russell should pass the ball. He won't get that from Penisini.
I've watched both closely in some replays and when it comes to wingers Simonsen is fairly obviously a better option then Russell. He makes better yardage, he is faster off the mark, a better finisher but of course he has to stay on the field and that appears to be a problem for him. At his best Russell is a solid first grader. Simonsen has a bit more to offer. They are both 188cm but Simonson is stronger thru the hips, more explosive and more agile then Russell. Plus Russell is leaving.
Kelly is probably higher risk but more potential upside. Its probable that his decision making would also benefit playing inside the Fox.Agreed on the wing specifically, if bailey is healthy he is the better choice. I still think russell would be the preferred pick at center if he wasnt leaving.
I wonder if Michelle's cooking got the deal over the line like it did with Lomax.Wonder if Tigers put non-compete clause in release?

*6I'm not sure that's an option I'd like to take up.
He was here 1 year of a 4 year contract and wanted to leave after 12 months.
I don't want him. His attitude sucks.
I dont think either party would even consider itI'm not sure that's an option I'd like to take up.
