Its news to me that he asked to come back to Parra and we said no. If that happened then it is relevant and I would like to hear some more submissions about it.
Was this before or after Storm made their approach? If after it was a move to say he wanted back in but Eels preventing him from playing so a restraint of trade. More likely this scenario.

I think this is what will happen -

Parra do you want him back = No

Ok well free to go to Storm = no compensation

The end.

Yes it opens up a can of worms on future contracts. But nobody will say anything.
Taking everything into account at least what’s being speculated in the media, you’d think the NRL will step in and grant us some salary cap dispensation if we genuinely can’t fit him in. I can’t see how the Storm should benefit if it’s clear they’ve breached anti-tampering protocols. They’re a f**king disgrace.

I reckon we stick to what this is about - the release.

we will open up a can of worms if we bring the anti-tampering stuff into it.

I don’t think the first part will have much consideration from court

I see a distinct possibility of a lot of dump passes being thrown and unfortunately in the metaphor we’re probably the centre and we have a half more interested in protecting their edge forward, who’s way more interested in protecting the winger.

  • Trainers will be restricted from entering the field of play to prescribed and clearly defined circumstances. This will ensure player safety remains the priority while reducing unnecessary intrusions by Trainers carrying messages.
  • Teams may interchange four players, up to eight times per match, from a squad of six players (players 14 to 19 inclusive).
  • There will be no seven-tackle set following a knock-on in-goal by the attacking team.
  • For certain infringements beyond the 20-metre line, the tackle count will restart, replacing the current 40-metre threshold.

So Papalii has cemented his spot for every team list this season. Probably Samrani too.

Going to be interesting to see what teams do with the expansion of 6 agains area. I worry it’s not going to have the effect NRL wants

Yeah the 2 players that don't get game time basically cant play CUP either that weekend.

I assume there will be some rotation of those players.

I think some teams will make good use of it though the utility on the bench may become a thing of the past and you have dedicated halves and backs sitting there with 4 forwards

Ed specialised in dropping easy passes and he became a cult figure.

He was the hardest footy card to get, two Bronco Djuras and a Bert at a minimum.

After a week of handing over your playlunch milk to the dealer.
