It came to my attention yesterday the Tigers were 10 seconds away from finishing the 1st round in the 8.

I agree Barnett is old and coming off a knee reco. Who knows how good he'll be now. Happy to pass there.

Agreed about wanting to play with his brothers Hindy, but you never know until you have a go. Same with Heamasi Makasini. I would go really hard for him. Best young outside back I have seen for some time. If he develops the way it looks as though he might, he will be the best outside back we have poached in a generation if we could pull it off. It's the sort of thing the roosters seem to do so often and we do do at all anymore.

Gee, todays Telegraph wirh lead articles by Read avd Badel , backed up by a sob story from Riccio really underlines the influence some clubs avd the nrl have on the media. Not sure how to describe them, put it this way it’s a reflection of what PVL suggested and Storm commented.

This is our fault we don't have these relationships, no one else.

Tbf Terrell would be a great addition and crazy May would also be good for our outside backs. Like others have mentioned going hard on makasini would be great. Honestly tigs have some great players spread throughout the roster - things are looking up. Time to promote makasini from our development club (the tigs).

I don't get why we are so interested in a 33 year old in Barnett. What I would be doing is scouring the best junior prop stocks throughout the NRL and trying to poach one of the top 3 potentials out of there.

Alternatively, I would be looking at someone like Terrell May who has stalled contract negotiations with the Tigers since Richo left and is one of the premier props in the game and turning 27 this year. He is potentially coming into his best years, not leaving them in his past.
