Hopgood is on the shit list mate.
Moretti, Brown and Guymer should all be in 19.
How he fits them is another story.

Pack
Guymer lock
Kautoga and Williams back row
Moretti and Jnr front row
Reserves
TDS, Walker, Tuivaiti, Kelma, Doorey and Joash
JDB does not make my team. Hopgood probably unfairly being singled out but is he considerably better than those mentioned? Probably defence wise but not punch in attack and typically drops 1 or 2 balls a game

You guys are f**ked. Moses should be the main man at 7. f**k Pezet. He is a f**king temporary bandaid.
Pezet is a 7 and only a 7.
Moses will always wear the 7 no question.
Moses is a top player but if im being honest not the best game manager..far from it.
Better game manager when hes played 7 for the blues than at the Eels..its hard to understand

They just get more numbers into the tackle because they are toilers and they stay fresh by controlling the ball and not having to make many runs. Our guys hit just as hard at the start of a game. We even gave it to the Storm until the ref gave them thirty again.
Yeah, they only had one off load in the first half. It is clinical - boring - clinical.
We want to (probably have to) play a style where we play more expansive with offloads and such. Hopefully it clicks earlier than it did last year and we get a roll on early enough to make the 8.

That is my take on offense. I hardly even watch defense (I use that 30 seconds of time to practice mindfulness), so I don't have an opinion on what is going on there.

It’s easier to be a game manager when you have a great forward pack. Ours is f**king diabolical. You get all excited in the beginning but in the end you come home with a ball ache.

REECE FRIGHTENING

Hull KR and the Panthers have exposed a chink in Brisbane’s back-five armour. Pepper Reece Walsh, Deine Mariner and Josiah Karapani with a series of bombs and you might just hit paydirt.

Before their World Club Challenge clash against Hull KR a fortnight ago, Kotoni Staggs launched bomb after bomb at Broncos training for Mariner and Karapani to work on
their high-kick defusal.
Staggs chuckled with delight every time the wing duo failed to catch his kicks. But now this is serious stuff. Mariner was all at sea on Friday night under the high ball, making two errors as Penrith champion Nathan Cleary tormented the speed demon.
Ditto for Walsh, who for the second consecutive game gifted an early try after failing to catch Hull KR and Penrith’s high kicks.

At 177cm, Walsh is not the tallest fullback in the league and NRL coaches will have noted Penrith’s superb kick execution in targeting Brisbane’s backfield.

Brisbane’s right-edge alliance of Staggs and Mariner are out of touch at the moment. They need to lift.

Again if being honest Moses parks himself on the right hand side of the field too much and doesn't roam enough for mine.
When he has and does it pays dividends

Jerome Luai was the 7 but Moses just wanted to wear the 7.

Hopgood is a pillow but I'd give him a bit of a reprieve for the time being. I agree with most of this though, Moretti and Tuivati coming off the bench.

I dont disagree and maybe Moses should play as a 5/8.
Actually reckon Moses would be a gun fullback but that ship may have sailed and he wants 7 on his back
I said that along time ago that he could play fullback and ppl shot me down and I said that Moses was actually a fullback before coming into grade.

However, in saying that, I don't think moses will like the tough stuff.

It's why I don't rate moses super highly.

He may have the skills, but he doesn't take charge when we need someone to like this week's game and he is too 1 sided.

I reckon Cleary would be demanding the ball every play if he was in our situation the other night and would tell them just to simple it down.

I’m tipping it, if we don’t make the 8 this season and MON continues with insipid signings like Brian Kelly and JDB, Moses will seek a release and leave.

Not that I give a f**k. I’m so over our high paid clowns and would blow the whole joint up and start again with just juniors and about 3 to 4 genuine first graders who aren’t over 35.

And if he's average, which was always the most likely outcome? This is the problem with fans of anything, including rugby league. Everything is either amazing or shit.

Au contraire Monsieur Pou. I can distinguish the shades of grey.
