Which is exactly how we play right? Right???best thing to do with the dogs is just kick down the front door with your middles, they're too good to go around.

Except where one of the few teams that can match burtons boot for distance and they which nullifies the only advantage they have over teamsWhich is exactly how we play right? Right???
Weidler is Gus puppet, lap dog and mouthpieceif reports are correctly particularly what Weidler mentioned on the BSB this morning, i would be very surprised if Xerri is someone Ryles would chase.....
Imagine getting 2 centres or getting 1 of Xerri or Tago...On recruitment, if indeed Bronson Xerri is on the outer and seeks an early release then I reckon Parra should go hard for him. There would not be a better centre available on the market than him and he is exactly the type of fast strong big outside back we need. From what I understand he was playing with injury last year and still had a very decent season. So for mine he is worth spending a little more than other clubs would be willing to to sign him for and I would give him at least a 3 year contract since he is still young.
Again, to my way of thinking there would be no good reason why Parra should not be the preferred destination for a player like him. We have the best club resources, money to burn and a quality young coach and a very stable club all round.
If we miss out on him for any other club in NSW, then we have failed woefully again. Length of contract and money should not be a factor in signing Xerri. I mean not even a desperate Illawarra would be silly enough to through more than $750K at him. So anything around that or below, we can and should be offering considering we have no real quality 3/4's at our club right now especially since Russell is moving on.
I asked AI what is Xerri on money wise and she told me $400K. So if we offered around $600K I think we should be in the money.

The dogs have pretty much told him that they are permanently moving him to the right side to accommodate Crichton and after he struggled they dropped him to NSW cup. Rightfully upset IMOif reports are correctly particularly what Weidler mentioned on the BSB this morning, i would be very surprised if Xerri is someone Ryles would chase.....

We are losing Russell..we need to bolster and do so quickly.
Xerri would fit it in perfectly now on the left. Tago on the right. Can only dream but both would be a massive yes from me
I do recall when he was at the Sharks he played on the right...something not right here..of course he's not happy he's been left right outThe dogs have pretty much told him that they are permanently moving him to the right side to accommodate Crichton and after he struggled they dropped him to NSW cup. Rightfully upset IMO
it’s harder then it looks for a centre to seamlessly switch sides
We ruined poor Brooksy. There is a very good player in there somewhere but the combination of the weight of the world on his shoulders when Moses, Teddy & Woods left, being expected to be 'the man' and lead around a rubbish team with a crap pack and terrible coaching for most of his career, he never had a chance.
@Tiger5150 i couldnt stop laughing watching Luke Brooks bumble and fumble his way through the carcass at Brookie yesterday.
Also there were no official score updates from the Sea Eagles twitter account yesterday.
This was there most recent tweet before the kickoff.
So you would swap Crichton? The dogs have pretty much told him that they are permanently moving him to the right side to accommodate Crichton and after he struggled they dropped him to NSW cup. Rightfully upset IMO

100% agree about his positioning in defence.I dont think Matty Johns goes through a week without raving about Iongi.
He did it again tonight.
I thought he was caught out a bit in position a few times defensively in the broncos game.
But they pointed out those 2 tries he scored and his ability to hit the acclerator in that split second of space he got and took half a chance into a couple of tries.
When he accelerates and slices through the defence he reminds me of Hayne’s running style.I dont think Matty Johns goes through a week without raving about Iongi.
