Dean Young used to be assistant at the Cowboys.

He knows the club, pathways & systems up there.

Flanno has a contract for another 3 years at the Dragons i reckon Young would love the Cows gig.

And if history is anything to go by the cowboys 3 previous coaches (Neil Henry, Paul Green, Todd Payten) all were assistant coaches at the cowboys at some point before going elsewhere then returning as head coach just like Dean Young was.

That could be a good thing or a bad thing. The systems may be the issue.

I always like to see new coaches in the NRL and what changes they bring. Both could come in and bring big changes and absolutely kill it and good luck to them.
