He's disgusted that aggressively vilifying me didn't end up with me getting banned. He's licking his wounds and planning his revenge.
Actually spent Easter with loved ones.

Judging from the prolific posting on here, you took a different route, although it still seems you did what you love in torturing and trolling Parra fans.

Good for you....and only you.

Id target both the McLean's. That would transform our backline.
And I'd be happy with Liam Martin also.
I agree my first Penrith target would be Jesse Mclean. I would also think about Alamoti as our outside back prospects are a few years away.

Obviously Liam Martin as well, but that is a long shot given the competition that will come from Perth and PNG. I genuinely think he is a fantastic player and the fact that Pou doesn't rate him means that it isn't just my opinion - its a fact!

We should also look at trying to sneak away Toby Crosby - but I don't know his contract situation.

If all else fails up front, I would also consider Isaiah Papalii

I have not considered Cleary or Yeo - there is no chance and to be honest, Cleary doesn't make sense with Mitch on our roster and Yeo will be coming to us in twilight - they are both obviously 1 and 2 in the world, but the boat has just passed us on those two!

Nathan Cleary turns 29 in Nov.
If there was a chance to get Nathan, Ivan and Jett id do it.
Nathan and Ivan are winners. They would also attract other players whilst bringing through the best youngsters.
Yes I'm dreaming but sometimes you need to dream big...

For some reason o get the feeling that Martin will break down. He has been going so hard for all these years and i just feel he is close to breaking down physically.

I think panfers are managing his physical well being well but if he left and joined us, he would be like watmog

2 of Macleans, alamonti and milkie would be great

Paul Alamoti was available to poach as a backup at the back at the end of 2023 when the Dogs let him go.

Guess who we landed instead Morgan Harper.

Did we even ask the question then i know we had a different coach then who should have been rissoled after missing the finals.

But compare our recruitment to Penrith's when it comes to signing backups and transforming them into decent first graders were miles apart in every department.

I would have gone for Scott Sorenson

No nonsense back rower who sets standards and tough as nails.

Unfortunately we sat there doing nothing for 6 months and waited for Perth to make a big offer.

He only signed with them a few weeks ago

Jetts doesnt seem to be NRL standards....

Luron Patea seems to be on outer and would be a good project player @Kilkenny

Freddy Lussick to complete the set

Atleast show the guy enough respect to answer properly. He is never rude and asked nicely. Instead you've given a smart arse reply. Fair game to attack smarts arses like myself who attack you but quite rude when someone's asking genuinely for your honest opinion.

I wasn't the only one suggesting we go for him. Atleast 5-6 other posters also mentioned him

Two players I woukd look at. Alamoti and Burns. Both seem to be on the hunt

Alamoti 2024: 16 NRL games, 7 NSW Cup. That's not a backup. That's a depth player, like Kelly this year.
Harper 2024: 8 NRL games, 14 NSW Cup. That's a backup.

Should we have trumped their "big offer"? Or forced him to sign on the cheap?

There's still plenty of decent players off contract, and they would all be receiving heaps of offers. It's a seller's market and even a 33 year old forward with a long history of injuries (like Sorensen) will be the subject of bidding wars right now.

There's nobody good from Penrith available for next year.

Why bother? I’ve tried both ways and he always go back to his default position. Obtaining insights from fans at other clubs is always refreshing to read. Even @Tiger5150 who just does with sarcasm.

They don't offer POs either

How do they do it?????
"Penrith will confirm the signing of James Maloney once the final part of his deal has been resolved.

The sticking point is a third party.

A $200,000 Keno sponsorship is being scrutinised by the NRL and unlikely to be signed off after Maloney suggested the club was organising the TPA which is against the rules."
