There goes our depth/injury cover in the outside backs .

Can't say I blame Morgs though... having played so much first grade and then have new recruits jump above you in the pecking order. May as well seek a release to go to a club where you can keep playing some first grade footy.

He's a great blockbusting talent, that we should be sad to lose.

But dare I say it... the value of an "out and out" front rower might diminish by 2017, with the mooted changes in interchange rules meaning the preference will need to be for forwards who can consistently deliver across 60+ minutes?

With that in mind, I like the type of forward we've been signing/retaining at the club - and it's not worh matching stupid money to hang onto people that are looking around and may not quite fit that mould.

Cornish? Not sure I rate him yet (defence?), nor think that he will get much game time ahead of say Kelly or Peats as emergency cover in the halves.

Shame to lose him and you may have heard different from me but I think Ricky Stuart may have gone, well, full Ricky Stuart on this one.

That's why I'm not worried. If he's going to Canberra it'll be for more than we could responsibly offer him. And if things in the game for a Paulo style prop change to the point where he isn't worth it, Dicky may even consider reneging on that deal, giving us a better shot of picking Paulo up for less than we would have from the beginning.
