If you read the papers you'll notice there is a concerted campaign to destabilise the Eels, obviously abetted by some elements very close to the club.

Some of those elements have staunch supporters who post here.

I avoid the papers as much as possible, but I have read bits and pieces over the years. I read this forum mostly to get my info.

I'm somewhat informed on the situation, but I don't dare voice my opinion. There's a fair few here who just chop the heads of those for doing so. It's just a sport, not something to get so invested in.

We won't need a one-to-one replacement for Paulo imo. Squad has good forward depth, youngsters coming on and developing nicely.

Didn't we just lose Paulo? We offered him $475k. We have also offloaded Pauli and are possibly losing Watmough. There is enough money. It's just if he wants to come.
