Imagine if this US thing works for soufs. Noycey will be on the phone to Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park, Dodger Stadium and Home Depot Centre whoring home games out for our 2017 season .. we may yet pine for Telstra, Jade, Bluetongue, the SCG etc

Can't see it happening. When they took Origin over there in the 80's it got a decent crowd but not enough to generate enough interest with the Seppo's.

Yes crouching but Noyce will only be thinking of the $$$$$
I foresee games played in snow covered green bay cos they offered 5c more than Telstra

I think it's a good idea to promote the game in the U.S.A. but I don't think NRL clubs should play NRL season games there. It's good that South Sydney are playing a trial there. I thought it was a good idea when they had a Kangaroos side that played against the Tomahawks in Philadelphia a few yrs ago. They should do that again.

Everybody knows the real money is in Dubai, so I expect Noycee to stitch up a deal to play our home games out of Dubai. Get a sponsorship with Emirate airlines, fly over the big wigs every second week for free and stuff the fan base.

Gee that sounds familar

You reckon anyone has had the foresight at WT admin to give Tiger Airways a call yet given their big push starts in Dec. If Virgin can sponsor a basket case like soufs you would think TIger would see the mutual benefits, especially seeing as the only competitor, Richmond are as sh*t as soufs were til this season

Already got in a few of their ears about Tiger Airways at the start of the year....whether it fell upon deaf ears or if they decided to pick up the phone is another matter.

They discussed moving a WCC match to Dubai 2yrs back. Whether a footy stadium has been built since would be an interesting factor.

We can play on sand
Dubai race club has said we can use the track
And they will offer 3c extra per try scored
Noyce needs to be told

Has the American Rugby League Organisation got a new boss since the one they had when Arko ran the NSWRL?

The one they had then actually didn't want that exhibition origin game played over there, and he ran a smear campaign to try and ensure it didn't get any publicity at all. The fact it managed to generate a crowd of over 12 thou was a very good achievement.

The guy over there f**king things up even threatened Arko, something along the lines of "I know a guy in Texas who can..."

funny sh*t.
