pool A: NZ, France
pool B: England, Scotland
pool C: Australia, Ireland
pool D: SA, Samoa
Top try scorer: C Jane (4 easy pool games will add that up)
Will NZ choke? According to Aussie posters on here history doesnt count, so it is impossible to actually choke.
Tournament Winner: All Blacks over England in the final.

Argentina wont be the force they were last time... Scotland should even be able to beat them... England will make the semi.. and then good bye wannabies...

The reason England have had the wood on us for so long is because their scrum destroyed ours. Whilst I don't think ours can match theirs yet, it has come a long way and that will ensure we are more competitive against them. I'll back our back line over anyone else's so provided we can hold our own up front, I think we're a good chance of knocking the English over this time (though i would feel more comfortable I Johnny Wilkinson broke his legs in the pool games)...then it will be a Wallaby v Springbok final at Eden Park. Awesome!

Nah.. your scrum is still shit... the two penalty tries you will give away in the semi will ensure your demise...

That's pretty harsh. I know it's not great but it's not shite. It's been improving for a couple of years and won't be as fragile as alot of northern hemisphere teams will be predicting.

Its harsh.. but fair... the aussie media was harping on about how much of a "weapon" it is.. after they beat an SA scrum with John Smit at prop... he isnt even super rugby standard as a prop... the wannabies are going to be smashed up front by England.

Yeah i don't understand where all that talk about our scrum being a weapon cam from. As you say - a few people in the Aussie media got stiffy's when they saw us splinter a Springbok pack and got a little too carried away. It's no weapon but it won't be the picnic England are expecting.

We shall see.. england have got a big pack and a defensive backline... they will smother the wannabies... for all the talk of England wanting to play "expansive" rugby, their squad suggests nothign of the sort.

Agreed. We shall see. England have big boys in their backline. Cooper, O'Connor, Ioane and Beale will be licking their lips!

Australia vs RSA or NZ in the final

Will win if it is against RSA

An Aus vs NZ final will be a match to be remembered.

A couple of years ago, on the EOYT, the Wallaby scrum completely dismantled the English scrum at Twickenham. I think our forwards have turned a corner. England aren't a bad side...they just aren't in any form. They have the players though.

I reckon it will be an AB - Wallaby final.

NZ v Eng final, with NZ to win.

Eng will beat Aus in one semi, and NZ will beat RSA in the other.
