Ryan + Fitzhenry

Sheens is really trying to torment us by playing Ryan and Westie's boyfriend on either wing.

Chuck in Robert Lui Stevenson at 7, 65kg Fulton at 12 and 'run at the markers' Heighington at 13 and the season outlook is dire.

Did he run from dummy half much or look to get on the back of offloads, breaks etc?

no

no

and no

he did however throw passes behind people, infront of people, over people and to people with the defence right on them.

im so glad we have him back. watching the 1/6/7/9 of moltzen/lawrence/lui/fitzhenry for the 2nd and 3rd quarters was marvelous viewing

It was only a trial and essentially our first hit out we shouldn't read all that much into it. However there were a few worrying signs

* Lui looking Lost
* Moltzen having a howler at fullback
* General lack of go forward and offloads
* Fitzhnenry
* Average goal line and ruck defence.

Was a poor first showing although I don't think we set out with much ambition or intensity. The Chooks clearly wanted to win, as shown by taking shots at penalty goal.

Hopefully an improved showing next week.

How did Mitch Brown play? Is it likely he'll take a wing spot, especially with Tuiaki out, and Lote still to come across. Realistically, if he can nab the second wing spot for the first few rounds he'll be able to cement the spot with strong performances, so when Lote comes, Sheens has to drop Ryan. Remember, whoever gets the second wing spot will be on the left side, hence playing outside Lawrence, who is very good at putting his winger away.

Made about as much impact as Ryan imo, they kicked to his wing once and scored once.

Fitzy and Ryan are dogsh*t ... it's like Krispy Kreme and Donut King in one shopping mall ... too much exposure to either (or even worse, both) products will cause severe health problems. Sleau did make 1 6m hitup in which he ran straight though

Very intelligient post when you wish an injury on a player. If we are playing that game though, I hope you fall of your bmx and concuss yourself

I agree matty. Wishing a broken leg on fitzy is awful
2 broken legs on the clown would be better due to the fact that the prick of a coach would probably still pick the clown with a broken leg

Dosnt the whole Fitzy thing reek of "Smokey Jason Moody". Sheens telling all and sundry that his experience will be invaluable for our 2010 campaign etc etc. Yet after one hit out he seem light years past the pace of the NRL. Good one Tim, you better get that contract extention all stitched up quick even the media might ask a few questions this year!!!!
