WEDDING bells are ringing all over rugby league, with retired NRL good guy Ryan Girdler to become the next footy star to walk down the aisle.
In typical laidback "Girds'' fashion, the Penrith legend will marry Katja Kremer at the prestigious Q Station Retreat at North Head on January 23.
The guest list has been kept to 100 - with 30 of Katja's family making the journey from Bavaria in Germany to the harbour city for the special day.
Freddy Fittler and Rhys Wesser are the only NRL types attending, with close mates Craig Gower and Chris Hicks unable to make it due to overseas playing commitments in French rugby union.
On the business front, Girds is continuing to kick goals with the latest release of his own blend of coffee.
Sharing the same name as his Dee Why cafe Girdler's Grind, the new blend of bean has been 18 months in the making.
