as rex mossop would say,i'm flabbergasted"",i' did'nt realise billy was so hated between albury and the tweed,he's an excitement machine who puts his body on the line everytime he has ball in hand.
i've only ever seen him do one bad thing and he got the appropiate sentence.
all he did was start a brawl in which nobody got hurt except most likely himself,it was all good entertainment,do we want the game to become soft like the afl has?

pepe

willow, the pies will no doubt fall at the last hurdle again, you know the feeling;-).

Actually he was pretty well respected before he got into the grubby stuff.

Ahhh... the blinkered early morning constitutional.

I admire you're faith pepe, but let's just say I'm a non-beleiver.

I'll take your word for it. I don't follow AFL.

Pies = Collingwood Magpies... right?

For a moment there I thought you might be talking about Yatala Pies. ;-)

It bemuses me how alot of Storm fans think their team isn't doing anything wrong. They label it anti storm paranoia or just think the losing team is having a whinge. I could understand their POV if they were isolated complaints but they aren't.

Put yourself in their position, if the Dragons had been dominating the league for 2 seasons, and doing so by employing a bit of wrestling. Would you really care what other supporter's think? I know I wouldn't.

Actually I think it goes beyond which team you support. The concern about someone getting their neck broken is (or should be) the real issue.

I'd hate to see my team resort to such tactics. I'd rather see them win with skill and flair. I think it's a shame that the Storm use those tactics because it takes the attention away from the fact that they are a very well drilled and skillful team.

Well I thought we played in a similar style to Melbourne when we went down there and tried to "beat them at their own game". As Brownie said we'll just have to go at them "harder next time". We were all applauding Brownie for his comments. I don't think it takes much of a stretch of the imagination to figure out how the Melbourne fans can defend their team. Still , it doesn't make grappling right.

I'm not sure if the Yatala Pie place is there anymore. New Motorway and they are out of view, well back from the main drag. Next time I'm up there I'll make a point of going down the track and asking for you pepe.

it was there last time i was up north, they have an exit just off the freeway which takes you straight to it.
the old building has been knocked down and replaced,i preferred the old one but times are a changing.
maybe they should name a pie after the storm,it's the one you eat and can't get back on your feet after it;-).
