How about the 11 or so runs he'd scored in ODI cricket?

He's record should of gave him longer in a lean patch. He was so out of form next hit he got 75 & almost pulled off a great run chase Warner's also in poor form but performances over the summer should keep him in the squad.

The bloke was dropped twice, if the first catch was taken he would have proved the selectors made the right call.

I can't believe Tassie didn't win that. Madness I tell you. Pretty ridiculous that the final isn't actually decided by winning. classic match though, I'll be watching the replay no doubt.

Hingsights obviously 20/20, but does anyone else think that Ponting made a mistake in taking that 2nd run, rather than just taking a single and keeping the strike when Faulkner chopped that ball behind the keeper? Kinda tough as in that situation, the extra run is pretty valuable.
