Pretty much, Hayne is the same referee that decided to send players off "for talking with their hands".

It's quite ironic that the NRL found someone worse than Harrigan to be the referees boss.

I know the f**king argument that ruling on a forward pass with the video ref is too contentious because the camera angles are deceptive/in on a NSW conspiracy or some shit.

But seriously. Cant we have rule that says the pass is presumed backwards unless there is sufficient evidence to overturn the presumption (similar to the try/no try onus given by the ref)?!?!? It cannot honestly be that f**king hard. And no, I don't buy that it's slowing the game down to a standstill, I'd rather get the correct decision thanks.

Also this referee saying try/no try has to be fixed too. The ref needs a third "NFI" option, rather than just pulling shit out of his arse and getting it totally wrong.

Because we did that before and people complained so much they got rid of it. The only way to stop bad calls by the video ref is get rid of the video ref.

I don't see how it's Anderson's fault that the refs miss forward passes. What's he supposed to do? Tell Hayne 'you have to look for them forward passes!'?
