Sack Moore

OK, im not the one who would fire out an opinion like that without giving it alot of serious thought, i could blame the players, but i don't think its their fault (mostly anyway) , seriously what is he doing? we start every single game the same, pass the ball to a prop/second rower try to go straight up the middle get to fifth tackle and put in a poor kick.
We gain 20 - 30 meters each set while opposition sides gain 50 - 60, we're way to predictable in attack and our defense looks shaky at best. And positional changes in that manly game, we had injury's sure but why the hell would you put halatau on the wing? and what has moore done to david stagg, he is a great ball player and can offload at will, but moore just uses him as a tackling machine (which i don't mind) but doesn't even use him in attack anymore i could go on and on but this post i long enough. We had a great year in 2009 but i think alot of that just came because we gelled really well as a team and we had to redeem ourselves for finishing 08 with the dreaded spoon. Last year was terrible enough said. But this year i really thought that we would come out and be a top 4 team. That manly game was the last straw for me, sack Moore and let jimmy dymock take the reins

He is not a good coach, the same problems have been popping up every week and nothing has changed. Like you said, we look slow in attack, have zero go forward, no speed in our defensive line and this allows the opposition to roll down the field and has pretty much happened in every game this season. In attack, we are so boring and predictable, it is just painful to watch sometimes. I think we need a change cause Moore is an average coach and can't cut it in the big games against the better sides, NO MOORE!!!

considering how many players your club has bought Moore has not many excuses. He has a top 4 squad. If he is sacked would you want a young coach or a experienced coach

All I know is we need someone from outside the club, somebody fresh that can bring in a new attitude

Yeh, interesting times ahead. Although I reckon if Moore is sacked they will give the job to Dymock

If there's one thing I despise more than anything it's mid-season calls for Coach sackings. Can do nothing good for any team, especially when they're out of form.

The way some fans are carrying on it's as if we just lost our 20th consecutive match and we're running last. Hysterical nonsense.

Come on man, as a doggies fan you must be frustrated to see what is happening on field and you can't seriously say that moore has been a success. After what our team has been dishing up for most of this year, if you say moore's a good coach your kidding yourself

Last night was very frustrating but it's too easy to look at it and go "lets start sacking people".

Moore had a terrible season this year and at the moment we'e 6-6, in a much better place than this time last year with a reasonably similar squad. There's plenty to work on but I'd hardly say all is lost.

Too many forget this is the same coach who had us 80 minutes from a Grand Final appearance just 20-odd months ago...

Reasonably similar squad lol new fullback, new halves, Tolman, Kasiano and Foster playing, Eastwood, Millington etc. We have more depth this year and a much stronger squad but against the top sides have had nothing and been shown out. It's not only because of last night, all year long we have had the same problems and they are only getting worse. Honestly speaking, Moore is not a good coach. We have lost 6 of our last 9 and I just can't see them improving cause it seems every week we are saying the same thing, enough is enough.

Normally I absolutely despite the thought of coaches being sacked mid season, but I just can't find anyway to defend Moore...if we had a weaker squad, fair enough, but we don't. There is something fundamentally wrong at the moment, something that a good coach would have addressed weeks ago, but we're seeing the same problems week in week out and are consistently getting worse. Something must be done asap.

should he be sacked? maybe

should he be sacked midseason? god no

should everyone be creating a huge fuss thus distracting the dogs and moore from their work on the field by calling for his head? no that can wait till the offseason

I agree with you here. I think its best to wait to play this out till off season...BUT...something must be done to address the fundamental errors consistently being made on the field.

I agree, Moore has a top 4 team player wise and we are only 50/50.

Most people in League know that a new coach has more say in matters in his second and third seasons and so far both have been disastrous for Moore. If anything he does done the opposite of what is expected and at the time of Moore getting an extension with the club i expressed concerns of the club jumping into that too quickly, looks to have come and back and bite them you know where.

However, i think Moore should be given to the end of the season to see what Moore is made out of and if he offers up nothing different then he should be moved a side.

I agree with him staying out the year and seeing what happens but if things don't improve majorly, he can not be here in 2012

Not much optimism around here is there. Guys, we've won 6 games, lost 6 and had a bye. We're on 14 points. It takes 28 to make the top 8. We have a bye this week, that gives us 16 points with 12 games in hand. We just need to win half those games to make the finals. 6 games to win from 12 isn't beyond us, considering we've already faced Melbourne, Brisbane and St George-Illawarra.
