Saints After 2 Storm Players!

When interviewed on radio Chief Executive Peter Doust said he had a few tricks up his sleeve in regard to recruiting and i think we all know now
St.George are meant to be signing two Melbourne Storm players for next year
Both players are players that we desperately need in key positions of Halfback and Second Row
While both players are under contract, both have clauses that enable them to leave with the departure of coach Chris Anderson
The two players are Matt Orford and Matt Rua
I heard that we are meant to be getting Rua and Orford will either come to StGeorge or go to Souths - and this was from a source inside the club itself
Though there is an article titled Storm Need Warning on the back page of sport in the Telegraph today which reads:
Melbourne are moving to ensure MATT ORFORD does not entertain the idea of using escape clause in his contract- like Nathan Blacklock did last week. Orford has in his contract that he could leave if coach
Chris Anderson did. Anderson has gone to the sharks, but the Storm are talking to Orford about an extended and "very attractive" contract.
So it is any guesses whether these two players will end up at the Dragons and after bidding for so many players and with Andrew Mcfadden all but signed at one stage i urge Saints supporters not to get too excited but what two great buys they would be
Heres just an idea of what my side for next year would look like:
1. Roberts
2.Blacklock
3.Gasnier
4.Timmins
5.Cooper
6.Barrett
7.ORFORD
8.Bailey
9.Riddell
10.Ryles
11.RUA
12.Thompson
13.Hooper
Plus we have a host of great other players for bench positions and for abit of depth
Fingers are crossed!

if rua and orford go then you count me in as well,i'm not going to sit back and see our club self destruct with the incompetence of bad management, ribot and johns led us all to believe that they were the mesiahs ready to build a dynasty of success in melbourne.

what hope have we got down here at attracting players, these are supposed to be the good times and still we can't attract players, god help us when we are bottom placed team which does'nt appear to far away with our list.

at least the saints are trying to attract players,we're not even doing that!!!!

I wont get my hopes up, but i'll be cheering if it comes off.
How can we improve on this year, if we lose 7 experienced players and gain no-one?
Last year, Penrith made semi's. They recruited no-one, and this year are last.
On the other hand, Bulldogs were 11th in 2000. They recruited Patten/Howland/Vagana/Trindall. 3rd postion feels much better.
COME ON DOUST. We need new blood in the team. Please!
