Well at least there's an admission that injuries are a tired excuse for losing games.

In the club journal, our club's chairman seems to think its an OK excuse though.

"the NRL team finished only two wins out of making the final playoffs."
- Warren Lockwood (Chairman)

What a load of rubbish.

Yep. Its pretty divisive.
But give them their dues, they're celebrating coming 13th in 2007... and want everyone to know that the Steelers are back!

It's the Illawarra Mockery, what do you expect? Makes the Terrorgraph look like National geographic.

What a load of rubbish.

The only redeeming feature that Lockwood possesses is the Rugby League club that he claims to support.

Something that p*sses me off...

I've never seen a Dragons player/offical say we're here to win. It's always " aww I wanna play every game, one game at a time, we can make the finals " blah blah.

Which club is that Juan?
;-)

A little difficult to tell from his actions, but I am led to believe that he follows St George.

He also possesses the 2nd wettest handshake I have ever had the misfortune to be a part of.
Danny holds the title.

I have no doubt that Warren Lockwood is a committed St George supporter, he has the blood line.

He is committed to St George being his club of choice.
He is committed to the St George board.
He is committed to providing statements on behalf of St George.
He is also committed to painting a bright picture for St George and its shareholders.

Warren is a very committed man.

He is also committed to gaining free access to home and away games, including travel to/from and refreshments at no personal cost.
He is also committed to a priority parking spot at the Leagues club.

BTW.. I think he may also be committed to stakeholders in key communities and demographics rather than shareholders in said communities and demographics.

well so long as they dont rate us friken favorites and put uneeded pressure they can say what they like

I want the pressure of being favourites and I'd be looking to see which players wanted it as well .
It's a great time to see whose mentally tough enough . The mentally weak you cull and the mentally strong who are left will handle the pressure of grand final day and deliver the goods .
This thing about pressure being always bad is a myth , Great teams love grand finals , the mentally weak hate them .

then he should be committed, and throw the key away.

Ditto. That period of a few months in 05 where everyone was out to get us was a fun time. Bring it back!

Yeah Godz, it was good being a Dragon in that period, though it did get a bit nasty around September :)() when the wheels fell off at the SFS.

I used a special magic potion to successfully erase that memory from my brain, Preach. You might recognise it:

Noticed today that it seems to have been corrected. Some tersely worded emails from LU folk do the trick, perhaps?
