C'mon surely you can assist the development of the game in Samoa!!!!

Talofa Club CEOs;& Club T & D Managers,
This is a plea for URGENT HELP ..a brief memo asking
for your URGENT ASSISTANCE in providing assistance &
technical training for a NEW Rugby League Academy
which will be up and running by late July 2007.
In order for us to successfully operate this Academy
we are humbly asking for any generous donations
towards our goals.

We need assistance in the following :

1.Any old rugby league balls - mod - to Premier
2. Any old club jerseys, shorts, socks - u13s - to
Premier
3. Tackling bags/shields etc
4. Video Cameras , Digital cameras, training dvds etc
- resources
5. Rugby League promotional material - posters,
badges etc ...
I was the Secretary General of SAMOA RUGBY LEAGUE from
2004 until 2006. In that time local football has been
in a rebuilding phase. We are still going forward
slowly. This Academy is a step in the right direction
to ensure that the children and talented youth of
Samoa are given the correct training and experience,
and a pathway to football scholarships, and possible
contracts abroad.

If any club/persons wishes to assist in building up
the Academy, then they will have first choice of any
players they wish to sign, and take on any
scholarships.

Any interested persons wishing to assist should
reply to this email as soon as possible.
We will even provide accommodation for you should
you decide to travel to Apia to meet with us here.
All donations will be published and acknowledged in
the SAMOAN MEDIA, as well any media overseas as you
wish to have donations published as a story.
To date, Mr. David Kelly and Wests Tigers are helping
us out here - with team jerseys. God bless you Mr.
Kelly and co. look at the Tigers roaring in the NRL
!!
We also are very grateful to PJ Walker & Daniel
Phillips at ARL Development. We appreciate your footy
donation.
May God bless your generosity, and foresight in
helping the children of Samoa. It is better to give
than to receive, so we pray the LORD continues to
bless the giving hand.
Kind Regards,

APIA INT'L RUGBY LEAGUE ACADEMY (AIRLA)
