Hopefully we see the full teams and not just a team of residents/lower grade guys that nobody has heard of.
Its upto samoa & fiji to test the resolve of the RLIF then..if players are called up they have to be released under RLIF law..
Ive already lodged a complaint with the RLIF over players being "banned" from turning out for a pacific nation this weekend..yet some of the very same cosches have happily sent players off to city v country
Great news. Good job RLIF, NRL, Samoan RL & Fijian RL. I hope two things come of the current momentum in the pacific:
1. An annual Pacific Cup is included in the new RLIF international calendar set to start in 2018 (with all matches to be played in PNG, Tonga, Samoa & Fiji)
2. Interest from Samoa and Tonga in joining PNG and Fiji in the second teir of the Australian RL system to provide a local presence in Samoa & Tonga and to provide pathways for locals to the NRL
