Seriously some corruption/politics going on there.
How the hell do Eddie Purcell and Arden McCarthy make the team.

So what McCarthy went on the Toa Samoa NZ team to tour Samoa late last year.
Even that team was just picked on who you know ...and who you know wants a trip to samoa.

You know how - they got picked - Toa Samoa are a joke.
Obviously people from Auckland have some power in RL Samoa.

There are good players - however those two are not worth the punt.
Purcell has played Q Cup and one of the better forward at local NZ level.
McCarthy is average at Fox level.

They are born and bred New Zealanders who have been in NYC systems (at Warriors) and didnt quite kick on. They play club footy.

Yet you have kids from Auckland who are on the way to becoming NRL players and possibly be available for some time.

Ray Faitala-Mariner - Warriors
Wayne Ulugia - Cowboys
Mark Ioane - Titans
Carlos Tuimavave - Warriors
Ken Sio - Eels

These just some Auckland Samoans on the rise - of the top of the head.

Never mind the likes of Lama Tasi, Junior Sau, Tagataese, Lima, Asotasi, Pettybourne and other experienced NRL players

Hopefully the Samoan officials bring out a statement on why some players(Lima,Pettybourne,etc) were left out of their final squad in the next few days.

You make a good point but who cares about Taufua when you have two Fox Memorial forward i.e Club footy players from Auckland.

When there is a long list of NRL, NYC and NSW cup forward more deserving.

You arent going to hear squat.....why because they are amateurs.

Sam pulled out of the tour as his wife is due to give birth at anytime now. I don't know what the issue is surrounding the other players.

I rate vidot i think hes a great talent can get back to his best. Problem with him this season is he spent too much time in the gym bulking up. He needs to lay off those heavy weights an supplements. All that extra muscle did him no good did season just looked like a damn robot out there.
