Afaik there isnt a Pacific Cup arranged yet for this season.

Could be either of these two possibilities...

1. All of the Pacific nations are going to arrange their own games, which means Samoa are heading to the northern hemisphere.

2. There is a pacific cup but as (according to the 2009 pacific cup) Samoa are lowest ranked side they have chosen not to play a qualifier against the 4th ranked side (Tonga) or are not included in the plans.

I haven't heard anything about a Pacific Cup anywhere else. With no 4N next year there is no real need for one in terms of finding a fourth team. The fact that article talks about the Pacific Cup doubling as 2013 WC qualifiers kills its credibility a bit because these teams are all automatic qualifiers so that bit can't be right.

I suppose it's not completely impossible that both couldn't happen, but you would think it would be one or the other.
