i'm sticking with TACTFULLY. will be fit now and she'll settle closer to the rails from a better draw than last start

big disappointment that Beadman isn't riding but he has his committments to Woodlands

Tough one to finish the day with! If you're ahead you can finish big, if you're behind you can get lucky with a get out of jail card. But good lucky picking the winner!

I'm going with Shalimar Sky. Boss on, he has rode her in 2 lead up trials, she's well drawn, goes well first up and never been out of top 3 in 3 goes at the track. In a race of some many chances, there's enough ticks there to say she'll be in the finish. Retail Therapy gets weight off after winning last start and Our Sweet Moss will run well first up.

Can't fault Imana or Tactfully, they can win. No surprise to see Radio Song or Really Flying to finish in the placings.

Racenet Preview -

Race 9 SAPPHIRE STAKES (1200m) at 5.10pm

Joice’s thoughts – Another lottery. Anything bar Retract can win (yes going on record) so sticking with one that will be right on the speed from the outset and is always tough to get past – Retail Therapy. Dea is racing in great form and meets the in-form Imana 2.5kg better at the weights for their latest encounter. But whatever takes your fancy is worth something small.

Payne’s thoughts – Dea is a very underestimated mare who rarely doesn’t give you a great run for your money. She had no right to finish as close last start after doing plenty of work out three deep but she’s a trier and from a better draw here will give you a great sight. Shalimar Sky is a promising mare who ran very well first-up last preparation and I’m expecting a bold performance from her here while Retail Therapy cannot be left out coming of a win in easier grade but she did carry 60kg

Joice’s Tips – Retail Therapy (6), Dea (1), Imana (2)
Payne’s Tips – Dea (1), Shalimar Sky (4), Retail Therapy (6)
