I feel wholeheartedly that the Raiders' Board has let too many good players go in the past, therefore I have drafted a petition to ensure that one of our best players, Terry Campese, remains in the club.

remember back to when campese was off contract last time. the raiders baulked at his asking price (so did most raiders fans) and decided instead they would put him on hold while they chased trent barret.

they dodged a bullet with that one. wonder if they can do it any better this time around.

one would think that if campese stays in Canberra he would have to be on atleast $350k. Its hard to see who else in their squad could eat up large amounts of salary cap money.

He's raiders through and through. Offer him an upgrade within the working limits of the salary capand he'll stay. Don't take what the manager or media says seriously. its all to drum up interest int the guy to prop up his offer.
