^Yep....and I think that would give us an outside shot.
Yeah Mick Monaghan would be awesome, a crap player that couldnt crack it 10 years ago when we were absolute junk. How could you possibly rather Monaghan signing with us than SBW?
But yeah lets sign a player that previously has had no impact at our club, is in the back end of his career and hasnt played halfback for the last 5 years.
Why the f**k would he want to?http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sp...ntract-extension/story-e6frexnr-1225841123420
^Looks like Weyman's not coming home after all.
SBW was a Raider's fan as a kid
AS ADAM MOGG arrived in Canberra yesterday to begin his second stint with the Green Machine, Raiders chief executive Don Furner confirmed the club's interest in Sonny Bill Williams. ''I'm not sure if he is interested in coming back to rugby league but if he was and he is available, he is a quality player and we would be very keen. Working out out whether he is genuinely interested in coming back is the first major step, I guess,'' Furner told ABC radio. Furner's comments came after Williams helped Toulon to the top of France's Top 14 rugby union competition with a 13-9 win over Bourgoin.
I always thought he was over-rated.... Certainly over paid... He didn't deserve all the cred he got and the smoke the media blew up his arse for what, on that amount of money, is actually a fairly below par performance... He reminds me way too much of Anthony "The Mouth" Mundine... A player who thinks he is so top sh*t he can do ONE good thing a game and get paid millions then f**k off to another sport as he has already "reached the top" of this one...
