I played in the the CAS in Sydney, Morgan Turunui and Adam Freier were only a few years ahead of me, and Owen Finegan is a product of my old school as well.

Are they private or public schools ? Just curios if all RU players that play in Aus do come from a private or public school which is the impression I am given from posters on this site.

What competitions are those schools from? I'm only aware of GPS, CAS, ISA and CHS.. these associations normally play each other in trial games before the actual comp starts.

Timbo - We use to have a regular fixture with Waverly back when I was in year 7, think they got cancelled when all our teams lost by 50+ points  I play at the school, "with the best grounds in Sydney."

Mine was CAS and we were usually champs.

Our pre-season games were against the GPS boys though.....We'd get slaughtered by Joeys and Kings then beat the stuffing out of High, Scots and Grammar :D

And what's this school with the great grounds Mal?

In QLD there are the GPS, AIC and TAS comps (in order of standard), but also there are some small state school comps.
