Webby must know something other clubs don't know. Zyon was given a chance and seems to not have kept his spot in the pecking order. We can't keep them all and forwards is something we are not lacking.

Zyon played good in his limited time for his one and only game. Then his form dropped off when he went back to NSW cup. I am certain that there a few things that will stay internal but I also heard it was for family reasons too.

I know he doesn't live in Australia yet so I'm not sure what it the family reason is though.

Forwards we got now is more than enough to cover his exit and if he proves to be a diamond who knows? He may return back to our club after being developed more.

Fish, Barnett, Demitric, Niukore, Ale & Afoa is good enough depth.

With the exception of the likes of Katoa and Taukeiaho, not every player we've let go has turned into superstars.

If I had the choice I'd punt Afoa for Zyon but he still wasn't guaranteed game time with the current pecking order.

I think our forwards are tiny and are going to get us pushed around by the bigger packs. Zyon was one of the few bigger units.

Sorta jumping at shadows aren't we, if we don't know the circumstances of Zyon leaving? Is he a sub-par trainer? Does he want out for other reasons? It seems like the loss of a big body who could go a long way, but I don't know the circumstances. The only thing I've heard is that he's not a hard working guy on the other side of the ball, that defensively his effort and application isn't there

yes, absolutely. I suppose I am just venting disappointment at how it turned out more than anything. We obviously don’t know the details or how it will develop

If that's what is doing the rounds, then presumably Ciraldo and Gould also know. But neither of them will tolerate that in a player, let alone a rookie, so they must think they can fix it.
