Nofoaluma was called up into the West Tigers 20's and probably decided to go with that choice. Given that he was an Australian Schoolboy from last year it was probably a "been there, done that, bought the t-shirt" scenario for him! This was unlike unlike Curtis Sironen (also in the Wests Tigers 20') who (up until last week) had yet to be selected in an Australian Schoolboys team.

What was interesting was the call-up of Michael Morgan (the Bulldogs HM U/16's centre) into the the NSWCCC U/18's team which I presume was in place of Nofoaluma. I'd be interested to know how he went. I noticed from the ASSRL website he scored a double in the semi against NSWCHS. He had a good HM season this year and was selected in the NSW U/16's. Would also like to know how Bird and Harris (the u/16's) from NSWCHS went? Anyone?

Hit the nail right on the head. Early rumors had Nofoaluma kicked out of school but later in the week it came out as you said he turned it down after a few successful weeks in 20s. Morgan was very good. For someone who came in 2 days before the champs he was exceptional. Probably was the best of the mattys boys across the week. Both bird and Harris had their moments although Bird threw the intercept to gift ccc the victory in their first encounter in the last few minutes when perhaps a more experienced player wouldn't have thrown the pass. Harris also burnt a few with his pace but again made a few errors as well.

I know Sam Coster has signed with Dragons, does anyone know which NRL team Andy Saunders has signed with ? I saw him playing for Farrer on Channel 9 this morning & he looks a good prospect.

Andy Saunders has just recently signed a 3 year deal with the Penrith Panthers.
