After Bolands effort he deserved his own thread.

Despite his remarkable performance i will be suprised if he plays 10 tests.

I have put a poll up for discussion.

He is already 32 so he probably only has 4 years left of FC cricket and will always be behind the Big 3 in starc, hazlewood and cummins. With Jhye Richardson probably still next cab.

I remember Jason Krejza got 12 wickets on test debut and only played one more test match.

At least scotty can live off today for the rest of his life

I don't think it'd be fair to pick him again only to fail and be dropped.

Just let him bask in the glory of the 3rd test.

MCG specialist so 1 every year for the next 10 years, so 10.

Or if Warnie gets his way and every test is played at d G then also 10.

I can see him getting one or two more with injury, but realistically he's behind the big 3, Richardson and Neser at least.

It might honestly be a better moment for him to get the one game as an absolute bolter, at home on Boxing Day, take 6/7 and then spend the rest of his life with that...

He is ahead of Pattinson at least...

I'll say 4 tests. Unlucky for the big man.

Pattinson announced his retirement from international cricket a few months back, not that he was playing international cricket at the time

Correct, that was the joke.

It's great to see a guy Boland's age light it up at test level.

Probably plays a couple more here or there. Maybe will play in Sydney/Hobart if they rest Starc or still have injuries.

Doesn't really matter though, as he just bowled the spell that sealed the Ashes. He'll dine out on that for the rest of his life.

Like Uzi, Boland is pretty hard to drop in the vein of form he has shown. Starc and Harris should not be sleeping easy now.
