2 guys on the fringes of origin selection. Just goes to prove that nsw depth of rep players is a myth.

It would be a lot easier to look good playing for the Cowboys then it would the bloody dragons. What is Bolton like there 10th best player? Lol it must be tough for him he only has Taumololololololo, Tamou, Scott, Cooper, JT, Morgan, Granville and Coote out there making him look good, and he will not be pushing for an origin spot anyways.

Bolton was on the fringes of selection a few seasons ago and from memory was struck down with calf or lower leg problems that really put him back as his main asset is his leg drive when he hits the line. Neil Henry moved him from the back row to the front row and after working hard to be back at 100% has relished in the prop rotation and a has a lot to do with our recent success with not losing two much in the engine room when our 2 test props go off and himself and hannant come on.

Has Lillyman, McGuire and Napa ahead of him though. Problem with Fryzell is using him as a battering ram instead of giving him space on the fringes to use his assets. Take that away from him and the dragons just have another Russell packer on the field

Bolton has performed well for 8 years now. He looks good because he is good. His leg drive is up there with the best front rowers in the NRL.

He is a huge contributor to the Cowboys' success.

A better comparison would be Ethan Lowe or Gavin Cooper versus Tyson Frizell.

Too many people sleep on Hannant and Bolton. They played a huge part in the Cowboys success last season and would have no issue plying their trade in the Origin arena.

However as others have pointed out, they've got a few players ahead of them at the moment. Josh McGuire has been one of the Broncos best and likewise Lillyman for the Warriors.

While we're on the subject, I wouldn't be against seeing a ton of Cowboys in the Queensland side. Feldt, O'Neil, Morgan, JT, Scott, Granville, Cooper, Lowe, Hannant and Bolton, that's a strong nucleus for the Maroons.

cowboys would probably still beat half the sides in the comp with all them players out

Probably, their feeder sides are nothing to sneeze at either.

Any Cows fan willing to put together a 17 devoid of Coote, Feldt, O'Neil, Morgan, JT, Scott, Granville, Tamou, Lowe, Cooper, Bolton and Hannant?

Frizzell is bone lazy. Seems to just disappear on some games.

Bolton - about one of the most improved forwards in the competition and wouldn't be out of place in Origin. I'd prefer him over Lillyman who surely has had his day.

Frizzell in, say, a Bellamy coached team would be the best second rower in the game. Stuffed around player under complete moron coaches for years.
