Mzilikazi said:Well I'll be. Eelavation was right on this one.
No huge loss. He's conceded more tries than he's scored.
That's incorrect too. This is the man who had Monaghan signing a contract in the sheds at Parramatta Stadium before the FNF game there.Hurriflatch said:Well he is batting at 100% for Manly rumours
Mzilikazi said:Hurriflatch - I'll excuse your ignorance. But I'm infamous for calling it as I see it with our players, to the point where I'm banned from the club's official forum.
So between you, me and the fencepost, Donald was bloody lucky to get a contract at the end of last year and I doubt we'd be letting him go without some form of certainty about a decent replacement.

I said a decent replacement didn't I?RainMan said:Please don't be Luke Burt!
If the club was run along the lines of what the unwashed ME herd wanted it would be guaranteed of a wooden spoon or three before its inevitable decline.Mzilikazi, how about A. Luchetti coming back to Manly;-) I'm sure some of those ME posters will be putting him straight into 1st Grade... He did score 4 tries on the weekend though.

ALL THE BEST TO SCOTT DONALD. He certainly knows how to finish them.
At least it makes some sense about him not finding the line lately. Both Mona's and Donald got doubles on the weekend. A clear mind gives good results on the paddock.
It's still a very strange decision though... We have
In our backs
Tezza 33
Hicks 28
Steppa/Alberts/Mattai all young and inexperienced
We already needed 2 centres and we now need a wing. I guess one of the inexperienced players could go to the wing.
Alberts looked pretty good at centre. So maybe we only need 1 centre.
Looks like we have a bit of shopping to do.

No offence to Eelavation
RainMan said:Hey Parra trolls!
Has E. Grothe jr re-signed for Parra yet...
eelavation said:no!
rumours are that he has agreed to terms, however us Parra fans won't get excited until it becomes official.
I can understand why you'd want him, he'd be coming from a club that knows how to develop their players.
eelavation said:you've just proven to all of us that your a knob. ;-)
