The idea is good. Even if clubs go over it with under the table tricks, at least there is less likely to be spending wars on players.

yeah clubs will be able to concentrate on matches on and around june 30 rather than whose staying on the roster for hte next season.

i think its ridiculous that a player who has signed with another club for the next season is still expected to stay loyal to the club he's at - if he wasn't loyal he wouldn't be there would he?
