I don't think the Tigers or supporters will lose too much sleep, they have Benji, he is the one that matters, he could have Andrew McFadden next to him and still be brilliant!!!

Ahh Only follow one team - Dragons. That'll never change, have a soft spot for the Titans thoug, as they are my local. Other than that I like a few team, Tigers, Storm, Kinghts. Hate Manly, Roosters, Parra, Brisbane and Dogs.

Cant really call that supporting half the teams. 1 team yep with 1 close behind. Have never changed allegiance once. Was born a Dragon and will die one.

Thats true - though Benji likes too have the organising and control done for him, it allows him to work his unpredictable brilliant best.

could be - sheens seems to have a thing for reynolds.

There are much better halfback options at the club though and so far its looking unlikely that Reynolds will be considered next in line.

Why can't some people see that there are more important things in a persons life than their job like their family. Good on Scott for doing what is best for his family, if say the same thing happened at my club with one of the players I wouldn't brand them a traitor I would completely understand the reasons why and think good on them for having their priorities right. There are more important things than Rugby League and if someone says there isn't well they must have a very sad life indeed

I don't hold anything against Prince for making this decision. He has to do what's right by his family. Ultimately he is the one that has to live with his decision, whether it be a good or bad one. Time will tell on that front. I don't think he will ever regret it if truly is for his family though.

On the other side of the coin, it's pretty hard not be pretty cut about it all. Our captain and our halfback leaving 1 year after our premiership win is pretty nasty thought. I'm just glad it's not Benji.

I do think Scott owes us something, but what he owes his family overrides that by a long way.

Good luck to him for securing his future, but one can't help but feel that he's lost a bit of face about the way this was carried out through the media. Whinging when the Cowboys, then the Broncos, said no...complaining (although light-heartedly )that the Tigers weren't based in Queensland, then being seen to be negotiating a contract in a very public setting in Sydney.

He's also had the benefit of just winning the premiership, even though his own role in that victory was minor compared to that of Sheens, Marshall, Hodgson, etc....in short, he's a very lucky prick.........I doubt Preston Campbell can carry him and the Titans around the park the same way that Marshall had to on many occasions last year.

(This is not a sour-grapes whinge, before any Tigers fans start up) ;-)

What's this crap about Marshall carrying Scott Prince? Do you know what you're talking about? Also I seem to recall Phil Gould saying Preston Campbell was a shining light for the Panthers last season. Think about what you say before you type it out and grow a brain.

I don't think Benji carries Prince, it's just what Benji being in the team allows Prince to do. Both of them will be poorer for the destruction of their partnership. The thing is that Benji is special and unique whereas Prince -whilst still a very classy player - is not.

A Marshall and Monoghan partnership for example would be better than a Prince and Campbell partnership imo (I just chose Monoghan becuase he is a halfback of about roughly Campbell's quality at 6).

So you think he played badly innsaneink?

Nope....never said that, but I find your argument weak as piss....all you have there is ''Gus said this"....if youre gunna argue, I'd get some more artillery.

I was simply paraphrasing what Phil Gould said after one of the matches that the Panthers played. I don't see what the problem is if we both agree. Would you say his quote is wrong then?

Campbell shone on the odd occasion....mentioning an 'entire season' in the same sentence is stretching it.

IMO he was a consistent performer game after game in a terrible season for them.

Anyway perhaps I wasn't so articulate but my intention was not to create a perception that because Phil Gould said it "it must be true". I was trying to put forward the fact that he was described this way due to his performances.
We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one.
