Something I would like to see Scotty do is try and drive it low and hard. He gives his kicks way too much air. Overall a great debut though. He nearly sliced through early in the second half as well.

Spot on mate.If the back three are back and waiting he needs to drill it low and hard, like Kerr did for us on the weekend. Its no use kicking it 60 metres if it balloons straight to hands.

His all around game was enormous and Im as proud as punch.Tackles his bum off, gave bullet like passes and layed on both of Brisbanes tries. They should have given him more ball as he was the only bloke in their side with any spark.

Outplayed Gower easily, and now that Gowies injured he will be up against Kimmorley. If he outplays him and has a big year with WTs,is there any chance he could be Oz half???......interesting. ;-) ;-)

Another thing i noticed from being at the game was that Prince never had any cover when he was kicking, he was always under pressure,. Yeah his 1t couple of kicks were a bit dodgy but like someone earlier said when your kicking constantly from inside your 30 your never gonna look that good unless you hit the opposition 20 all the time..

Prince was a star, at least we know could possibly have 2 players in Origin 2...

I gotta say it seems a few people on here are expecting too much when it comes to Prince's kicking game. Last night i thought it was good. The reason it sucked at times tonight and at times for the Tigers this season is due to a lack of go forward by the forwards , most of his kicks (longer ones) barr his first one were going 50 mtrs on the fly, its just because he was kicking from so deep inside his half it was allowing to wingers to drop back early and help out the fullback. Besides, Rooney is a very good kick returner.

I sat there last night at full time and then while watching him interviewd on sports tonight and believe that he's now come the full circle since his injuries and from this moment on we'll see him rise to a new level.

WELL DONE SCOTTY!

Well done scotty.Great game in general play.

But i do agree 100% with simon regarding his
kicking game.It is the main reason i wanted kerr
playing 1/2 for us.

go scottyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
i had money on him first try scorer paid $210
yeehaa
he does give the ball plenty of air time but it also allowes the chase more time to get through
if he kicks low from the 20m line he finds other 40m line and the chase is still 30m away where as he gives away a few metres hitting it high but the chase is right on them when they catch it
anyway he was best qlder on the field and won me money woohoo

About August last year I said that "Scott Prince is a good player but probably only as good as Lincoln Withers".

Now I am extremely proud to admit that this comment was the second worst comment in Rugby League for 2003.

The worst was Phil Gould in February 2003 when tipping how teams will finish for the 2003 season....."Penrith will get the wooden spoon" !!!!!

Thank Christ for Phil Gould !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and speaking of Phil, get rid of Hornby mate he was useless.

Cheers!!
