For knock ons it should just be a turn over/play the ball. For touch finders we should have some sort of a variation of the line out which is a pretty decent spectacle/contest in union.

tunnel ball - one line of players from alternating teams with legs akimbo. The Apex rolls it down and whoever it stops at has possession.

Thats some god awful defence by the bulldogs!

A basic run around and by the time they get to the middle of the field they've created a 3 on 1 with the dogs winger about 35m in from the sideline.

You see better structure than that in jim beam cup these days

If you watch it closely you see the ball is held at the locks feet, Stuart yells "Sir, Sir" to the referee in reference to the Bulldogs defence moving up as a result they back peddle (which you see in the replay) to avoid giving away a penalty. This is the key moment of the move as it gives the Raiders time and space to execute their move to precision.

That video has been made to show scrums at their worst. I believe it was shown on the roast when Vossy was there as a bit of a pisstake towards scrums. It is meant to be completely biased.

Completely true. It would be like comparing kickers from 40 years ago to the kickers of today. All aspects of the game have improved why if we had scrums would they not also?
