Didn't watch it but averaged 1.9 million viewers across the 5 cap cities which is massive. They had already commissioned a 2nd series as well before the premiere so 9 have got alot of eggs in the sea patrol basket.

Every recent Aussie drama has rated at close to the 2 million mark on debut.

Then people realise the production and scripting isn't upto what they see in a bad episode of CSI, Desperate Housewives etc and give up on it.
