As for R Jennings had a number of opportunities 2021 IMO failed his rehearsal.

I am sure Jennings was brought in as a stop gap because of no NSWRL last 2 years. Let the young Boys get more match fitness.

Guys like Jenkins aren't even playing centre. I still think number 30 in the squad needs to be an experienced centre

The problem with that is how do we have the salary cap to sign an experienced centre to be a back up playing in NSW Cup, and still have enough space to resign the likes of Hopgood, Taylan May, O'Sullivan, Lindsay Smith, Turuva and Salmon who are all unsigned for next season.

Plus upgrade before 1st November this season the deals for
Crichton, To’o, Martin, Leniu and Tago before they can start receiving offers.

it is too early now but over the next couple of months. Teams will give up on 2022 and start to get ready for 2023.

That is where we jump in and get the club to pay x amount to come here.

As for going forward. We have what the media love to call a war chest.

we have 11 guys off contract. Mostly on mimimum wage but I don't think Eisenhuth would be. So lets round that to $120k a player = $1.3m

we offered Kiks $700k
Api $600k.

so we have $2.6m there. The salary cap is tba for the next few seasons. So who knows maybe add a couple of hundred thousand to that.

Across 13 players means you can get a few solid guys mixed in with a few rookies
